ACADEMICS

At Mira Model School our academic program is built on excellence, relevance, and readiness for the future. We are affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and align all teaching–learning practices with the latest CBSE guidelines and circulars to ensure our students receive a nationally benchmarked, future-focused education.

ALIGNED WITH NEP 2020 & NCF 2023

We have seamlessly integrated the vision of NEP 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework (NCF 2023 for School Education / NCF-FS 2022 for Foundational Stage) into our classrooms.

 A NOTE FROM OUR PRINCIPAL

”A society which is mobile, which is full of channels for the distribution of change occurring anywhere, must see to it that its members are educated to personal initiative and adaptability. Otherwise, they will be overwhelmed by the changes in which they are caught and whose significance or connections they do not perceive.”

-John Dewey, philosopher, psychologist, and educational reformer (20th Oct 1859-1952)

Mira Model School reflects this philosophy of adaptability for change, iterating the need for every child to be a community and nation builder, becoming a lifelong learner as there is no endgame to knowledge. Recent world and national events have called attention to the need for our students to be resilient and our teachers to play the vital role of changemakers. Mira Model school has been proactive in nurturing for the school an ecosystem of creativity, innovation, and research, ingenious technology, entrepreneurship, for students who can create wealth and resolve community, national and global issues.

Primary School

The Primary curriculum is taught through XSEED learning programme which is based on teaching all subjects through 5 – step Experimental Learning. We focus on the all-round development of our students with interactive sessions and activities in classrooms. Children who need extra help or extra challenges are taught by using differentiation tips provided in the XSEED lesson plans by our excellent faculty.

Middle School

We maintain a balanced emphasis on academics, co-curricular, and life skills. In line with NEP’s emphasis on vocational exposure, we have adopted Kaushal Bodh, CBSE’s skill education initiative for Grades 6–8. Through Kaushal Bodh, students explore hands-on modules in areas like coding, financial literacy, gardening, pottery, and digital skills — building 21st-century skills and dignity of labour from an early age.
